Continuing With Our Wish List

This is part of an ongoing series which will highlight my new Kindle Book: Attainment Revelation Celebration. Be sure to register on this page to "Follow by Email" so you won't miss any subsequent excerpts!
Here’s more about Writing Your Wish list and Affirmations Correctly
We Continue your “Wish List”

The next area of the Major 8 is: Enjoyment of Food.

For some this may seem so simple or not worth taking the time to include in the Major 8. But let me ask you a few questions? Have you ever been hungry? Have you ever fasted for a few days? Have you ever had a condition or situation where you were unable to eat solid foods for days and then you were able to? Do you take time to enjoy your food or does your hurried schedule have you running so fast that food to you is just something you have to do?

Years ago I had a chain saw accident to my face. I won’t go into the details just now, but my jaw was wired shut for a full week and I “ate” through a straw as I could not chew anything. Although that was over 20 years ago, I can tell you today that I enjoyed the wonderful taste of my first real meal of Swedish meatballs in gravy on mashed potatoes on the Sunday when I could finally eat solid food again.  I truly try to give thanks daily and express my appreciation for all things. In my book: Pearls of Prosperity” (A great selling Kindle Book on Amazon.com). I share a morning and evening ritual to express one’s gratitude. Part of the ritual is showing appreciation for tasting food and anything that “comes in” to me and my body in expectancy before I start the day, and then at night I give thanks for what did “come in” to my life, specifically my food. Remember an attitude of gratitude brings you more in your life to be grateful for. You may consider getting Pearls of Prosperity and following the morning and evening ritual; you’ll see results in just 7 days.

A few ideas for wishes under “Enjoyment of Food” might be: “I am grateful for food and am the ideal weight”. “I eat only the right foods to nourish my body and feel great”. “I eat at the finest restaurants” “I enjoy eating at my favorite restaurant one time a month”.

Don’t miss how I explain the correct way to list your wishes and then the process for submitting them to Infinite Intelligence for attainment as I continue this process in future posts. If you’d like the complete system (which offers more detail), consider purchasing my Kindle Book on Amazon for $4.99* called: Attainment Revelation Celebration Day; How to Create Your Own Special Holiday to Manage and Measure Your Attainment Results! (The price may be slightly higher or lower depending on certain marketing variables depending on when you are reading this). www.amazon.com.

The book is priced at $4.99 for only a limited time. We will continue to do market tests and we will raise the price to 7.99, then 9.99 and continue in increments all the way to $29.99 and may eventually remove it from Amazon and market it via other methods.

Write Your Wishes and Affirmations Correctly

Writing Your Wishes

Writing and presenting your wishes are much like affirmations, there is a "correct" way to do them. Your subconscious and the Universe are pretty literal; you need to state your wants in a specific way.

If you've been following these excerpts and creating your Attainment Holiday, you will now have your sheet with all of the Major 8 listed as headings followed by spaces. You can get the form that I’ve created and use by request at: www.terscott.com/contact. Again, these the Major 8: Good Health, enjoyment of food, a restful night’s sleep, money, life and a legacy, sexual gratification, well being of your children and those you love, and a feeling of importance. These 8 areas are like having 8 separate toy catalogs that I mentioned.

Now without too much thought, place your one idea, your “wish”; your one thing under each of the 8 headings that you desire to realize in these next twelve months to be realized within the twelve months and then revealed on your next Revelation Celebration Day. You should really try for just one but definitely no more than 3. You could write your choices on a separate piece of paper and then place your most desired wish under the Major 8 category.

What do you desire most about the first of the Major 8; Good Health? Just don’t place the words: “Good Health” here. Be as specific as you can. When you wanted that special toy, dress, car or whatever you wished for as a child, you also knew that you wanted not just any toy, dress or car. You wanted it to be a special style, color and size. Do the same here; you are a child again! Do you have a certain health issue? If you have a high blood pressure situation for instance, you could write something like: “I’m totally well in all areas of health, especially in the area of my blood pressure, my condition is normal!” Or simply state: “My blood pressure is normal!” Use the exclamation point too if you’d like. This evokes strong emotion. Be sure that you state your realization as if it is in the present tense, something such as: “My blood pressure is normal”; not something like: “My blood pressure will be normal”. Other declarations for this area of health may be “I exercise daily and have tons of energy”. “I weigh 156 pounds” or whatever your desired weight is. Don’t belabor your thoughts here. Usually your first thought is the most desired because this has been something on your mind for a long time. Put it down and move on to the next category of the Major 8.

Wishing With Expectancy; the Process

PART 1 of 3: Wishing with Expectancy

Here’s an exercise to improve your “expectancy”, which is really “planning” having results (and the realization of your hopes, dreams, and wishes) in mind. By now you may know that I’m all about writing your thoughts down, using a calendar and managing the Major 8. It’s been said that goals are dreams with dates. So, we’ll take your dreams from each of the Major 8, put a date on them, expect them to happen, and when they do, you’ll be ready to take full advantage of them and make right choices when they do.

Under each of the Major 8 headings, place your “wish” and the date you desire it to be realized. You’ll know what “feels” right as far as the “need” and “how much” and choose a date that makes sense to you in that for instance, if your relative has a birthday celebration coming up and you’d like to do something special, maybe you’ll need a car, time off or money to do this; be sure that your chosen date is sometime before the birthday. But don’t sweat this, just have “fun” with it, let it “come to you” when you put your thoughts on paper or a calendar. Use pencil at first so you can erase it, but then when you are certain, place it on your yearly calendar in pen. Make it permanent!

So again, here are the Major 8: Learn the 10 Secret Rules for Attaining "the Major 8": good health, enjoyment of food, a restful night’s sleep, money, life and a legacy, sexual gratification, well being of your children and those you love, and a feeling of importance. You may request a copy of “My Major 8 Wish List” that you can save on your computer and print every time that you want to do this, on my contact page: www.terscott.com/contact. It’s free of course. It lists each of the Major 8 with a space to write in your wish and the date you desire it to be realized. I encourage you to write the dates on a calendar that you use for your personal “wish” calendar.

Let’s imagine that you have a vacation in Hawaii coming up (this is planned, you know it is happening; it’s paid for etc. Realize though that even this came about from some past desire and choice made on your part). You want to look great in swim wear. Under the first heading, good health, you desire to eat right, perhaps you desire a membership at a local gym but you don’t have the time, or money to put toward this. Write it down along with a date for its realization well before your Hawaiian trip and move on to the second of the Major 8, enjoyment of food.

Under “enjoyment of food” you may have a big, little or no wish, but write something. How about spending one lunch each week with a different friend or business acquaintance? When you write something like this, you may find people calling you and asking you to join them for lunch; this works, try it!

I won’t cover all 8 here, so let me jump ahead to 7 which is the well being of your children and those you love. Give this some thought. Here you could think about having money for their healthcare, clothes, and college all set. I think also that having you present in their lives has a lot to do with their “well being”. Many times the year goes by and we think where did the time go? You will not have those vacations and time with loved ones unless you plan it. But this takes money, time off from work, transportation, and more. OK, plan it with expectation. You want to spend time with your children or grandchildren. Plan a Disney vacation or a cruise! Think big. They don’t need to know that this is your desire. Place your wish and a date on your calendar to have all in place to be able to book your vacation where you want and then get your kids schedule to work, and bam! You are doing it.

Try this exercise. Contact me and ask for the “My Major 8 Wish List” (ask for it by title at www.terscott.com/contact) or make your own. Get a calendar and plan and manage your “expectancy”. You and I have wishes that are about to come true, everyday! Let’s bring our umbrellas, and set the table to be ready for them when they come to realization, so we can take full advantage of them.

Here are two stories about expectancy

PART 2 of 3: Wishing with Expectancy

Do we really “expect” the things and wishes that we desire to come about, or do we half heartedly say something like “yeah, I’d like that” and never give it another thought or use the process of “Ask, Believe and Receive”?

Two quick stories come to mind. A pastor of a small farm town, which was facing a severe drought, scheduled a special prayer meeting to pray for rain which was badly needed to grow their crops which impacted every facet of their livelihood. The church was packed by hopeful town’s people. Most were hopeful yes; but not expecting. The pastor looked out over his pulpit and said that if you were coming here to pray for rain, why did only a few of you bring umbrellas?

The second is from a book of true stories that built my faith as a child. It’s of an almost unbelievable account of a mom with children who had no money and no food that had their prayers answered quickly. I don’t remember all of the details but they prayed for food and then set the table! Now that is faith and real expectancy. And yes, it happened; someone came by with a precooked meal which was enough for all. The person who delivered the food had an abundance, felt the “call” to share, and as I remember, they were surprised when the stopped by, to see that the table had been set and the expectant children all in their chairs ready to partake, as if like today they had ordered delivery service.

Be sure to return to read Part 3 where I share a process for you to improve your “expectancy” (If you have not already done so, I invite you to join as “a follower by email” so you’ll never miss any of these articles).

Are you getting all you've wished for?

PART 1 of 3: Wishing with Expectancy
I’m holding in my hand, my most recent “fortune” from a cookie I recently had after a Chinese buffet. It reads: “Your wish is about to come true”. You may not give credence to such things but I’ve learned to appreciate all that comes to me; everything has meaning.

My next thoughts were all questions. “What wish? Do I have any wishes now? I know I have wishes but what are they?” And then I thought that sometime I, like most of us, am not ready to have wishes come true. I remembered the sayings, “If I knew you were coming I would have baked you a cake” and, “get ready, company is coming”. Are we ready? Wishes are coming! Let’s be ready for our wishes so when they come to realization, we can take full advantage of them.

http://53f13d2bmbl8dl3mw0fxexpw4c.hop.clickbank.net/

Think about times when you had friends or relatives visit and if you had known they were coming, you could have scheduled more time with them, taken time off work or reallocated responsibilities and duties to do things with them, but it was “unexpected” so you did what you could, but you know that you could have done more.

Have you had a time when you had a lump sum of money come your way, say from a bonus at work, a gift, or whatever and found that you spent the money on something(s) and later thought that if you had “planned” for it, that you could have gotten more for your money?

But how can you “plan” for “surprises”? Expect the unexpected! But in your case, it will be “expect the expected”! And always expect good things!

Be sure to return to read Parts 2 and 3 where I share a couple of stories where people “expected” and received what they wished for. In Part 3, I will share a process for you to do the same! (If you have not already done so, I invite you to join as “a follower by email” so you’ll never miss any of these articles).

Choose Your Dreams, Ask and Wait

Attaining Dreams and Goals is Not About Goal Setting
Submit your Requests, Believe and Wait

The Process

The process of setting aside a day every year to celebrate what has been realized the previous 12 months is not necessarily about setting and achieving goals, although you’ll see your goals achieved using this; it’s about dreaming and getting your dreams. Sometimes setting goals requires more thought and work. Your desire is to “be, have and do” in living a rich life. Remember, this is a celebration and a holiday. This means the process of asking, believing and receiving should be fun. It should be as simple as opening a toy catalog, choosing the toy that you desire, and asking your parents for it as your Christmas gift. Then you stop bugging your parents about it; (maybe drop hints sometimes), and there it is, under the tree, Christmas morning.

I'm not saying that you get something for nothing in life, but the Universe is all about granting your wishes; as you become ready for them. Having a "holiday" set aside every 12 months allows you to grow and become better thereby acquiring greater things as you "grow into" them.

Setting out Fleece for making choices

Setting out Fleece Part 2

Earlier I spoke about why we should set out our own “fleece” (http://secretrulesforattainment.blogspot.com/2014/01/setting-out-fleece-to-make-decisions.html) here I will explain the why and how.

Unlike Gideon who was already told exactly what to do, have you, in your situation, heard the voice of God saying that you definitely must go and have victory over the Midianites of your job career? If not, I’m thinking that it’s OK to “set out the fleece” to use it as an indicator as to whether or not you should continue one way or another when making decisions. But, when you do get a clear answer, then go with it. Do not continue to be a “doubting Thomas”; you’ve got your answer, now go forth!

First ask yourself what your “fleece” would be. You may be already getting confirmations all around you as you go throughout your day, but you are not “seeing” them.  (In my Best Selling Kindle Book: Pearls of Prosperity, I point out how I start each day with a morning ritual which in part has me asking that I not only “see”, but that I “observe”).

Your fleece could be something as simple as saying that, “OK, if my boss asks me to work this weekend (after you’ve never worked weekends for months), I will take this as a sign that I should take the other job”. Is this kind of scary or what??? Oh yeah!!! Also be sure to put a deadline on it like Gideon did, he didn’t wait a week for an answer, it was the next morning.

Here’s the interesting part; you will get an answer and sometimes it’s “over the top”. Your boss walks out of her office and to your desk and explains something like: “I know we haven’t had to have people work overtime for a while, but I could really use you to work the next four weekends”. Wow, she is asking for four weekends; not just for one.

Sometimes just how fast and to the point this happens, will startle you. You mean it really works? Yes. Now be “observant” and you’ll see circumstances which happen that confirm this is the right decision. Things such as your landlord tells you of a rent increase happening soon, you find out that a friend just moved to the area that you will be going, someone wants to buy your second vehicle which you won’t need at the new location could all indicate that you need to move forward.

Now you’ve got your answer and keep your word. Don’t waver; here is where you use your faith. Go to the job opportunity that is 1000 miles away and put your “everything” in it and make it work; “faith the facts”, it is meant to be.

Are you Whining or Winning?

Winning and not Whining!

Today’s message is sponsored by Any Time Travel. www.anytimetraveloffers.com. Save big on your next vacation; we have all the connections, call us today! Or, make your vacation your vocation; we’ll show you how. (Select locations only; inquire at: http://TerryScott.mydfilive.com/goland1).

Everything in life is a choice; even choosing to win or whine. Every choice, no matter how little or insignifcant it may seem at the time, has altered your course in life and has made you who you are and brought you to the place and situation you are at today, at this very moment. And, your choice of either having a winning attitude or a whining attitude during those times of deciding what thought to continue, what you will eat today to make you strong or heavy, what discussion you’ll have today, what people you’ll see or what road to take, also have influence over how you choose to make your life.

The good news is that we are always making decisions almost every moment as to which way to turn and what we should do. Most of the things we do are such a habit that we don’t consider doing something else; we just do it without having to make decisions. Start today to make winning (not whining) a habit.  Make it a great (no whining zone) day!

Life isn't fair. It's true, and you still have to deal with it. Whining about it rarely levels the playing field, but learning to rise above it is the ultimate reward.
Harvey Mackay

There seems to be more quotes about people winning than there are about people whinning so I think there is still hope for all of us. Ter Scott

Set Aside your Special Attainment Day to Reflect and Project

This is part of an ongoing series which will highlight my new Kindle Book: Attainment Revelation Celebration. Be sure to register on this page to "Follow by Email" so you won't miss any subsequent excerpts!

Your Special Holiday

First choose a special day of significance in your life to start this attainment tradition. This will be your Attainment Revelation Celebration Day. It could be your birth date, a holiday such as New Years, a wedding date, etc. Just be sure it holds a positive meaning to you. You will revisit it each year and spend some significant “alone time” each year on this date.

Take a sheet of paper and write: “On my next Revelation Celebration I will have attained these things”: Then list the Major 8 categories, allowing enough space after each to write in your wishes (for yourself and others close to you) under each heading.
