What are the prominent colors in your life telling you?
If this is your first time here, my name is Ter Scott and I'm the Color Connection Coach. I assist people in using color to live better lives. Every week I offer 3 color options to choose one from and to work with that color for that week. This week I offer a few thoughts about how to use the Color Reveal that you will choose.
Start and maintain a Color Journal.
When you keep a color journal you’ll note when the same color is revealed and how many times over a span of time. This is important because just as life’s lessons continue to happen over and over again until we deal with and learn them, so is the same with colors; because they act as messengers to tell us that we need to revisit this lesson again.
Lessons have colors, life experiences have colors and so when a certain color appears over and over as when one sees it in cars, clothes worn by others, papers, and even our thoughts, we best take notice. The color is telling us something; are we listening?
It is no accident that certain holidays bring with them colors so don’t be surprised when you do a color-reveal and it is a color of the season! It confirms that you need to “stop and smell the roses” and revel in the present.
I like to write my affirmation for my 3 x 5 card in the color revealed for my week. I purchased a complete set of colored jell pens and use the pen color closest to the color for my week. I also keep a “color journal” and use that color to write in everything that week. You may consider doing the same and perhaps carry that colored pen with you all week and use it for writing during your 7-day journey. I often suggest that clients accessorize using the color and incorporating the color in some way in their lifestyle for the week of their color reveal.
Now let’s move on to choosing your color for this week. Remember, you should only choose one option (and don’t look at the other two. Trust yourself and the Universe that you chose the right one for you. If you have any doubts, “make” it the right one).

The Color Choices you Make, Determine the Chances you Take
It’s another week and I have another 3 color choices for my readers to choose only one, which will reveal their color for the week and the assignment which accompanies it.
There really is something to the fact that you make a decision as to what choice you make which reveals the color which is for you. To prepare for this, I take my deck of color cards, shuffle them and draw 3 from the shuffled deck. Because I see all three pertain to me in some way, but today, since I’ve experienced all 3 colors previously I was thinking that they must have particular significance to my readers. Remember too that if you are joining us weekly, if your color is “repeated” this means that you still need to work on that color’s lesson.

What is YOUR color?
I’m always excited to do these weekly color reveals. You see, for me, each of these 3 colors has special meaning and significance to me and my life and how I need to become aware of and also use these colors in these upcoming 7 days (until the next color reveal). I ask myself the same questions that I ask you in the articles for each specific color; the one color that you choose from the 3.
There is a much bigger picture too when I reveal 3 colors each week and ask you to narrow your selection to only one. These three colors are not only meant for me, but they are meant for my many readers, and especially for you. It truly is “bigger than you and me”. No one of us knows what color you’ll choose and how it will speak to you during your week. And, as I’ve done this for some time, I see patterns of colors close in shade or the colors themselves repeat! To me, that means that I really need to “stop and smell the roses” and pay close attention to the lessons the Universe is trying to get to me.
