Purify Your Body with the Color Yellow

Welcome to my regular readers here at Attainment Rules. This article is "good reading" but it will have more significance to you if you happened to have chosen it as your personal Color Option. Click here to go to The Answers from the Cosmos, click on one of the Color Options and if it takes you to another article, that's your color to work on. If it brings you here, spend more time on this color. Color Option choices are revealed weekly so you can work on your specific color for 7 days. Also, you may consider subscribing to Answers from the Cosmos which offers daily inspiration and wisdom and if you are not yet a subscriber to this site, consider doing so here. Yellow, “Purify Your Body”

When I think of something that is Yellow I think of a Canary and a Sunflower; maybe even a Canary sitting on a Sunflower! OK, I’m just having some fun with you, and guess what? That’s one of the meanings of your color choice, including a whole lot more. What thing comes to your mind when you think of the color Yellow? Last night I happened to watch a Superman movie and in one part he flies above the clouds and “soaks” in the rays of the Yellow sun and rejuvenates his body. That’s exactly what we’re going to do with Yellow, as Inna Segal (creator of The Secret Language of Color) says, “Purify Your Body”.

I am not offering any medical advice in any of these Color Communications but I will state that when you’ve chosen this color you should check into ways to “purify” your body. You can do much of your own research and when necessary, see a professional.

Inna explains how yellow can assist us in cleaning our intestines and bowels to release toxicity and even clean our skin. Spend some time outside and be grateful for the sunshine and relish in it. I’m a big advocate in drinking water from different colored glasses; translucent colors. She recommends to put water in a yellow glass, keep it there for at least a half hour and drink it while focusing your thoughts in purifying your body, mind and heart. Since this Color Communication is meant to be worked for a week until you choose your next color option, I would ask that you do this at least once for each of seven days. There was a reason for you in choosing this color and even if you don’t “feel” like you need to “purify”, being grateful and taking time for good health is always a good idea.
Now let's look at the symbolism and other characteristics of the color Yellow and see other ways we are meant to be benefited by it.

One of the most popular sites (about color) on the internet https://www.bourncreative.com/meaning-of-the-color-yellow/ points out that Yellow, the color of sunshine, hope, and happiness, has conflicting associations. On one hand yellow stands for freshness, happiness, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment, remembrance, intellect, honor, loyalty, and joy, but on the other, it represents cowardice and deceit.

When I read the final sentence about Yellow representing cowardice and deceit, I felt “shock” and “surprise” because I wasn’t thinking of Yellow in such a way. If when earlier I asked you what you thought of when you thought of Yellow and if you happened to think of cowardice and deceit instead of sunshine and happiness, there is a reason for that. That in itself may be a reason for you to “purify” your soul and mind! No judgement is intended; I’m just reminding you that you chose Yellow and this color is meant to have you get better and grow in some way(s) and it is up to you as always to try to find exactly how and what is needed this week for you to do so.

Another of my favorite “go to” color sites says this about Yellow: The Color Yellow
Yellow is the color of the mind and the intellect The color yellow relates to acquired knowledge. It is the color which resonates with the left or logic side of the brain stimulating our mental faculties and creating mental agility and perception. Being the lightest hue of the spectrum, the color psychology of yellow is uplifting and illuminating, offering hope, happiness, cheerfulness and fun.

In the meaning of colors, yellow inspires original thought and inquisitiveness.

Yellow is created from a mental aspect, the color of new ideas, helping us to find new ways of doing things. It is the practical thinker, not the dreamer.

There is so much that you can find about the color Yellow when you do a bit a research but don’t overdo it. When you find what it is that you need; the message that you need to hear, that’s all you need to do. Jot some things down using your yellow pen or pencil in your Color Journal every day of this week. Write your questions, your thoughts and your experiences. Then please leave a few comments at the end of this article.

Drink water from a Yellow glass, eat bananas, and drink yellow liquids (but clear clean water is always best) and wear Yellow this week and seek purification in your mind, body and soul but also in your relationships and all of the areas of the Major 8™.
